Hello friends I am back to write a quick post that will get you inspired. So I had mentioned in my previous post "on my journey to magic", that I am creating my own magical system. Which may seem ridiculous to some when there are already so may good ways to practice magic already. But a lot of the rituals have words and meanings that aren't relevant today. And I want to put more meaning in my own magic. Or we have come to the point as human beings,  that we know long drawn out rituals, aren't necessary to get the job done. How do you create your own system? This is a good question and I don't have it completely figured out but I am unlocking the potential currently.  I always always always thought there was something strange going on!!! From having a "imaginary" friend that looked like the shadow of minimouse at a VERY young age. And then when I was also really little maybe 6 or 7 living in Wausaukee WI, I remember a squirrel talking to me. LOL like WTF!! I grew out of that very quickly since as I was a JW then, that would have only meant I was talking to demons. But I developed other "magical" skills esp during puberty when I was boy crazy LOL!! There was this one boy I liked and he lived a few hours away and didn't go to the same kingdom hall as me. He did have family though that went to our kingdom hall. So some times very rarely and randomly he would be at a meeting. I never was having a "so called real" connection like facebook(wasn't even a thing back then) or his telephone number to communicate with him. Before I continue to talk about the struggles of growing up a Jehovah's Witness, I would like to talk about some of the great things there are when it comes to being a JW. Well there are none, LOL jk. No actually as I have grown into adulthood I have learned some valuable lessons and felt lucky to have been a JW growing up. One of the biggest things I attribute to being a Jehovah's Witness that was "honesty". Don't get me wrong not all JW's are honest. But it was definitely preached to be this way. And as I experienced more relationships either in friendship or partners I dated, honesty became huge in my life. If your not an honest person, I feel there is probably something lacking in your personality, possibly confidence or lack of guilt. So I feel my core values definitely came from being JW. This maybe a long post... The main reason for me to want to talk about this is not enough people out there do. I hope that me writing about this will help anyone else who have gone through similar experiences, esp when it comes to being in a religion you may feel trapped in. Like most I found dwelling on the past to be too difficult so leaving it there seemed better. Its been about 9 years since I left that religion. . . Growing up wasn't bad I had thought. Even though holiday celebrations such as christmas, and halloween, were never celebrated, we still had a lot of wedding celebrations and anniversary's that we did celebrate.
